This forecast proved to be inaccurate – turned out much colder & snow showers Weds!
Early hours Monday morning will bring a front crossing over our area bringing sleet initially and maybe wet snow but very quickly turning to rain with temperatures rising before dawn. It will still feel decidedly chilly but temperatures are set to recover to just a tad below average for early December this week. Just a few showers, rain clearing by lunchtime Monday, then some brisk Northerly winds keep it feeling cool but relatively dry for us for much of the first week in December. Exaggerated newspaper stories of “Arctic blizzards” for the UK, especially for us in the SE, will have to wait until nearer the END of December when mid-range models are hinting at a possible “proper” winter cold snap with snow, but not this week. Certainly no blizzards for us in Reigate, yet!
